Our Work

“Project Beyond Borders” has so far brought out an original comprehensive handbook that provides detailed information about the challenges faced by refugees who are forcefully displaced. It also provides strategies for willing volunteers to employ to sensitively attend to the needs of the refugee groups. 

The project has also been working on a podcast series, that is bringing together the testimonies from different refugees for the world to know about their lived experiences in different socioeconomic contexts. In addition, to increase the awareness about the refugee crisis amongst students, the project organized training programs that simulated some of the lived experiences of displaced communities for students to develop a sense of responsibility and empathy. Through such outreach initiatives, the project has also organized donation drives to provide clothes and essential items to the refugee communities. 

At present, the project is networking with willing organizations to form a support network for the refugee communities, to ensure them continuous support in the future.
